Y'Ello from Cape Town

I have arrived! What a long trip but well worth it. I am living in a gorgeous little flat in the back of a house, with a super nice land lady who took me around the area yesterday. I am ideally situated at the base of Table mountain and within walking distance to the Sports Science Institute, a huge shopping centre, and really anything else I could possibly need.
It's a gorgeous temperature and this morning with my windows open I could smell fresh fruit. Also, there are lots of volkswagens so I feel right at home. I start Orientation tomorrow and that will be good so that I can meet more people.
Miss you all, more soon I promise.

    Hi Anna,

Glad that you made it and that it sounds sooooo nice already. Can I just say that it is freakin freezing here this week and I am really jealous. Thanks for the postcard and necklace. I am wearing it right now!

    Anna,

Glad to hear you are safe and having fun already! What kind of fruit is it? All I can smell is exhaust and smoke from the guys next door unfortunately. Oh well, glad to hear one of us is taking in good smells. Stay safe and have fun (isn't that what Hal and Joan say on the Body Break ads? Hmm....weird)! Hugs, Carms :)

Wow we really need some sort of update e-mail alert thing for this blog.

Anyway, Pam is right I think it is minus 1,000,000 in Edmonton right now. If it's 40 degrees out where you are, then there is almost 80 degrees difference in the temperature.
